When the Earth is convulsed with its quaking
and the Earth then disgorges its charges and man asks, " What is wrong
with it ?", on that day it will impart all its news.
The word "zilzaal" in Arabic means
earthquake, or tremors, and the word "athqaalahaa" means
"charges, heavy burdens." When one considers the above verses in the
light of the first meaning, it can be seen that reference is being made to an
important scientific fact about earthquakes. Surat – Az – Zilzal mentions the Earth disgorging its charges.
Indeed, as a result of research in recent years, it has been realized that
there are heavy metals at the center of the Earth, and that these appear as a
result of movements on the Earth's surface. According to geologists'
calculations, as the Earth cooled, heavy and dense substances sank to its
center, while lighter ones rose to the surface. For that reason, the Earth's
crust consists of the least heaviest substances (basalt and granite rocks),
while heavy metals (nickel and iron) are found in the core. As a result, the
subsurface, which consists of molten metals, is made of a material that is much
heavier and denser than the surface. During earthquakes, the heavy substances
below the surface have an opportunity to rise, and the Earth thus disgorges its
charges, as revealed in the Quran. Moreover, those regions where metal reserves
are most concentrated are also those with the greatest volcanic activity. These
scientific findings, which emerged only recently, and as a result of
wide-ranging research, are just some of the scientific facts indicated by Allah
in the Quran. [ 2 ]

While it is stated in the Quran that
Yes, We are able to put together in perfect order the
very tips of his fingers . A l – Quran
The emphasis on fingerprints has a very special
meaning. This is because shapes and details on everyone's fingerprint are
unique to each individual. Every person who is alive or who has ever lived in
this world has a set of unique fingerprints. Furthermore, even identical twins
having the very same DNA sequence have their own set of fingerprints. Fingerprints
attain their final shape before birth and remain the same for a lifetime unless
a permanent scar appears. That is why fingerprints are accepted as a very
important proof of identity, exclusive to their owner. The science of
fingerprints has been used as a non-erring identity determination method. r
Everyone, including identical twins, has a unique
fingerprint. In other words, people's identities are coded at their fingertips.
This coding system may also be compared to the barcode system that is used
today.
However, what is important is that this
feature of fingerprints was only discovered in the late 19th century. Before
then, people regarded fingerprints as ordinary curves without any specific
importance or meaning. However in the Qur'an, Allah points to the fingertips,
which did not attract anyone's attention at that time, and calls our attention
to their importance. This importance has only been fully understood in our day.
The validity of the
technique to establish identity by means of fingerprints (AFS Applicant Fingerprint
System) has been confirmed by various police organizations over the last 25
years and is a legally approved method. No technology of identity verification
in our time gives such effective results as fingerprints. Using fingerprints to
establish identity has been used in legal processes for the last 100 years and
possesses international acceptance. [ 2 ]
SCIENTIFIC FACTS :
- Finger
prints are formed in the embryo at the fourth month, and remain fixed and
distinct all along man’s life.
- Finger
prints are a record of curvatures that arise due to the fusion between the
epidermis with the dermis.
- These
curvatures differ from one person to another, and they never match or
correspond among all humans.
- Finger
prints have become the best method to identify persons. In 1858, the English Scientist, William
Herschel, pointed out that finger prints differ with the difference of their
holders, thus rendering them as distinctive feature evidence for each person.
- Finger
prints are considered as distinctive feature evidence for each person
Physicians
conducted wide anatomical studies on a large number of people of different
nationalities and ages, and they were confronted with the scientific fact to
which they bowed their heads, and in submission they testified that no one is
ever able to make similar all finger prints scattering all over the universe
not even among two persons.
Here
it is noticed that the verse speaks also of the recreation of all finger tips,
and not only one. The word fingertips
refer to all hand fingers. So shaping them again after being scattered all over
the universe on Resurrection Day is a sign of Allah’s almighty power. This is but one side of Allah’s ability to
resurrect people on Doomsday with their identifiable parts after annihilation.
Therefore,
it is not surprising that fingertips are one of Allah’s signs that contain the
secret of His creation, and certify to the entity of the person without any
confusion, thus becoming the most genuine testimony in this world and the
Hereafter. The finger print is also a
demonstration of Allah’s greatness of shaping such lines on a very small space
no more than few square centimeters.

No indeed! Rather what they have earned has rusted up their
hearts.
The term “rusted” is here used to describe the
constitution of the hearts of some human beings. Whilst the verse contains
spiritual elements, the verse may also refer to the biochemical reaction that
takes place in the heart. (Allah knows the truth.) Rust is the result of iron
reacting with oxygen – this is the process known as oxidation. The oxygen we
absorb from the air is carried through the body by means of the iron present in
the hemoglobin in the blood. During this process, the oxygen reacts with the
iron in the blood. This means there is a constant resemblance to “rusting” in
our blood. This “rusted” blood is then carried to the heart and around the circulation
system of the human body.
An
excess of iron in the blood can even lead to premature aging in all of the
body's cells by causing rust-like oxidation. In the disease
known as “hemochromatosis,” caused by excess
iron accumulating in the body, iron produces a toxic effect and causes
organs such as the liver to collapse. Since this is the result of iron
oxidation, this phenomenon is often described as organs “rusting” or ”rust
accumulation” in organs”.76 In the journal Science News Dr. Sharon McDonnell
describes the iron oxidation
in cells making up organs as 'rusting'. Another
reference says this about the disease: " those with hemochromatosis absorb
iron, storing it in their organs. Over time, it accumulates in toxic amounts,
causing organs to fail because they literally rust." It is only possible to identify the reaction
of iron with oxygen in the body–oxidation in the blood–in laboratories with
highly advanced equipment. The fact that such a comparison, so compatible with
the scientific data, appears in the Quran is an evident miracle, given the era
of the Quranic revelation. The Quran also contains countless other pieces of
information which are in complete agreement with modern science. Surely, this
is another sign that it is the revelation of Omniscient Allah, our Lord and the
Creator of all things.
The oxygen we take from the air is carried
through the body by means of the iron in the hemoglobin in the blood. As this
happens, the oxygen enters into a reaction with the iron in the blood. [ 2 ]
